Which areas do you cover?
Kizzas Contracting works around Geraldton and the surrounding Mid West. If you are not sure whether your street is in range, send the address through and you will get a straight yes or no rather than a maybe.
Do you need to visit before quoting?
Usually not. An address and a photo or two from your phone is enough for most lawns and blocks. Larger acreage, difficult access or unusual jobs are worth looking at in person, and that gets arranged before any work is booked.
How is the price worked out?
It comes down to the size of the area, how long the grass has been left, and how much detail work is involved around edges and obstacles. A block cut every fortnight costs less per visit than the same block cut twice a year.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as there is access. If gates are locked, dogs are out, or a side gate needs to stay shut, mention it when you book so the visit is not wasted.
What happens to the clippings?
For regular mowing, clippings are normally mulched back or caught depending on how heavy the growth is. For clean ups and slashing, how the green waste is handled is agreed as part of the quote.
Can you take on a block that is badly overgrown?
Yes. That is the work the slashing gear exists for. Tell us roughly how long it has been and send a photo, because a block at knee height and a block at waist height are two different quotes.
What if it rains on the day?
Wet grass cuts badly and can damage a lawn, so visits get moved rather than forced. You will hear about it rather than being left waiting.
Can I book a regular fortnightly service?
Yes, and it is the option most people end up on. Regular visits keep the yard under control and keep each visit shorter.
