Block slashing for vacant and occupied land

Vacant or occupied blocks cut back with gear built for the job, including verges, paddock edges and rough ground.

A block that has not been cut for a season is a different job to a lawn. The grass is thicker, the ground is rougher, and there is usually something hiding in it. This is the work a domestic mower cannot do, and it is a large part of what Kizzas Contracting is set up for.

What the visit covers

  • Vacant blocks, house blocks and occupied acreage
  • Long dry grass cut back so the block is walkable and easier to inspect
  • Verges, fence lines and paddock edges taken in with the same visit
  • Access, slope, stumps and rubbish talked through before the quote is set

Why blocks get slashed

Long dry grass close to a house is a fire risk, it hides snakes, and it seeds the next crop of weeds. Cutting a block while the grass is still short takes less time and costs less than waiting until it is over knee height.
